August, 2009…..Honor Marine is awarded a contract to replace the Furuno navigation radar system aboard the USS Ronald Reagan, San Diego’s newest aircraft carrier. This installation is scheduled to be completed in early 2010.
May, 2009..... Honor Marine and affiliates complete $2.2m radar and camera surveillance upgrade to the KAAOT and ABOT oil terminals in the Northern Persian Gulf. This was a 2 year project that culminated in the installation of 3 radars and 2 FLIR camera systems that will eventually be turned over to the Iraqi military forces.
March, 2009..... Honor Marine is awarded a $650k contract to supply and install the electronics packages on 3 110’ US Navy Coastal Reconnaissance Vessels that will be built at the Marine Group Boat Works facility in Chula Vista, CA.
October 31, 2008...... Honor Marine Electronics joins fellow members of the San Diego Superyacht
Association (SDSA) to participate in manning the inaugural SDSA booth, in the International Yacht Builders
pavillion at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show - one of the largest in the world.
October 21, 2008......Honor Marine Electronics is proud to be the electronics provider for
HANG 'EM HIGH, Chip Wagner's tremendous 58' Miller,
winner of the 28th Bisbee's Black and Blue Marlin Tournament. Mr. Wagner landed a 313-lb. blue marlin and
captured the winning prize of $ 2,234,035!

2008.......Honor Marine Electronics has been awarded the
ABS Certificate of Service Recognition.
After an exhaustive seven month process, Honor Marine has
fulfilled the rigorous requirements of the American Bureau
of Shipping, thereby earning the coveted External
Specialist Certificate which will allow Honor
Marine technicians to perform ABS classification or
statutory surveys on yachts and commercial vessels. Due to
heightened security requirements - locally and
internationally - the approval process for companies
desiring to offer these services has become incredibly
complex, rigid, and detailed. Honor Marine is proud to have
become one of a small, select group of service providers in
the entire US.
April 29, 2008.......Honor
Marine Electronics is proud to be one of the founding
members of the new San Diego Superyacht Association (SDSYA).
This organization is a coalition of marine-based companies
that serve the burgeoning megayacht fleet. The mission
statement reads "To promote San Diego as a world
class superyacht destination and provide a conduit to marine
services and support." The new association
will allow San Diego companies, such as Honor Marine, to
maximize their marketing and customer outreach on a
collective basis, world-wide.
